The following remarks were spoken during the ProLife Action Ministries 40 Days of Prayer event September 28, 2016, outside the Planned Parenthood Clinic, St. Paul, Minnesota. Please pass this along.
Today I stand before you to speak up for the unborn, who cannot speak for themselves; And to call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the God of all mercy to hear our prayers, deliver us and answer us.
During these 40 days of prayer, let us pray that the hearts of those who do evil will turn away from that which leads to death and do good.
Is anybody listening to Unborn America?
Is anybody listening? Abortion has caused tremendous misery against women. Women need to be told truth: Abortion harms women physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually.
Is anybody listening to ultrasounds and DNA? There is no denying it. That life growing inside a mother is a human being, alive, with a beating heart, and arms and legs and fingers and toes. It is a child; created in the image of God.
Is anybody listening? Is anybody listening to the silent cries of babies in pain, torn from their mother’s womb with brutal instruments or burned alive. These babies are not “products of conception” or viable tissue” to be bought and sold. These babies are the handiwork of God.
Is anybody listening?
Is anybody listening to Psalm 37:27, “Turn from evil and do what is good.”
Is anybody listening? Denise McAllister writes: “Planned Parenthood is one of the greatest perpetrators of violence against African Americans in this country. It is founded on racism, perpetuates racism, and kills more than 850 African Americans every day.” Let us pray that the Lord will turn the hearts of those who choose violence, that they will choose life and live.
Is anybody listening? Is anybody listening to the mother who is feeling confused, alone, afraid within her spirit because she has learned she is pregnant with a living child growing inside her, and this is not what she expected? Is anybody listening? The answer to her need is not to destroy the life within her, but to offer her love, support, encouragement, hope for a future and alternatives to abortion.
Is anybody listening? Is anybody listening to the women and men, grandparents and siblings hurt by abortion. Is anybody listening to the mother who carries her in heart, the guilt of a terminated pregnancy, the loss of a child and thoughts of what could have been. Abortion scars women and men physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually.
Is anybody listening?
Dear friends. Yes. The Lord, the God of Love Himself is listening!
God the Father hears your prayers and He will answer.
The Lord Jesus hears the cries of the children, and their mothers weeping in Ramah, refusing to be comforted.
The Holy Spirit hears the groans of the children, for out of mouths of infants He has ordained praise.
The Almighty Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, the sea and all creatures, who made human beings as the crown of his creation, hears those who turn back to him in sorrow over past abortion and turn away from evil, and takes delight in bringing forgiveness.
The Lord hears a mother and a father’s anguish and says: Do not be afraid, I will be with you. Choose Life and live in my love and mercy.
Let us thank the Lord for all who serve in crisis pregnancy centers and are dedicated to protecting the lives of unborn babies. For all those who provide alternatives to support women and men who need to know the real truth about the dangers of abortion on the woman’s health.

Lord God heavenly Father, Lord and Giver of Life:
I pray for the day when:…more people of your creation will turn from evil and do good.
I pray for the day when:…more Americans will listen to Your Word that a child inside the mother, is created in the image of God, male and female. For regardless of the circumstances, each one of these children is unique, fearfully and wonderfully made, undeniably human.
I pray for the day when: …more in government, more medical doctors, more bioethicists, more psychologists and more psychiatrists, will not deprive humans of personhood, will turn away from trusting in human logic and evidence alone, but recognize that all human life has equal value because all people are created by You and a treasure of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
I pray for the day when… men and women will cherish one another in marriage and family; and each husband love his wife as Christ loved the Church and laid down His life for her on the cross; and each wife honor her husband as to the Lord.
I pray for the day when… Abortion becomes unthinkable and human life is respected by all even from conception; that no human life will be destroyed by any means: Suction, RU486, Instillation and Dismemberment; but rather protected at every stage.
I pray for the day, dear Heavenly Father, when… human fathers turn their hearts to their sons and daughters. Open wide the hearts of the fathers and give them a heart of flesh that they may be strong, men of integrity and service, protecting and providing for their children.
I pray for the day, Lord Jesus, when… As you have promised – Never again will there be an infant that lives but a few days; When mothers hold to the truth and be set free to love their children as you love us.
And I pray for the day, Spirit of Life, when… ears of the deaf will be unstopped, the eyes of the blind opened, the lost – found, and Your Word of love, mercy and forgiveness in Christ Jesus, who conquered sin, death and the father of all lies through the cross. Continue to shine your light into the dark corners where sin and evil hides. Please continue to change hearts and minds to true faith, to the joy of saints and angels in heaven; and to the glory of your Holy Name.
